Sharon Terry

Sharon Headshot by Michelle Terry

Sharon Terry brings an eclectic mix of training and experience to her work. With a master’s degree in theology and a background as a chaplain, she has also practiced engaged Buddhism for several decades. A transformational experience in a workshop with Chris Price led her to become a dedicated student and practitioner of Gestalt Awareness Practice (GAP).

Sharon integrates awareness practices into her work in biomedical research and health, offering companies, academic groups, and nonprofits tools to show up fully and trust the process. She co-leads workshops with Chris Price and Steve Hoskinson in various settings and facilitates Introduction to GAP and other experiential workshops. She is committed to creating spaces that support individuals and communities in deepening presence and allowing whatever arises. Sharon offers one-on-one sessions and Gestalt Awareness Practice workshops for groups interested in cultivating openness and presence. If you're interested in an individual session or a workshop for your organization or team, you can contact her. For those who have completed an Introduction to Gestalt Practice, Sharon facilitates a weekly Essential Practices drop-in session on Mondays at 6:30 PM PT. Participants engage in core GAP practices, including Taking Our Seat, Basic Breath Practice, and the Continuum of Awareness.
